writer bear
Being a writer who publishes books is the strangest thing I know. It's like being some rare breed of bear who hibernates for two years and then emerges to harass the tourists for just a few weeks.

is it bad to feed the bears like they say? I think its OK. when they chase you should you fall down still or head for the tallest tree?
damn it - I wish I could see the fire-blowers. My freind Monique, last heard of, was in LA and is a fire blower. She was on a billboard in Europe at some point, she is like the crazy undiscovered madonna of performance and flame.
Oh well. I wish I could be there!
