La Califusa is the demented love child of Jeff Obser and Leslie Gore, two exmats (outside the matrix) who with various cohorts began singing around late-night kitchen tables in the halcyon early days of Decade Zero, when the Moron Error took over America and benign insanity suddenly seemed a reasonable lifestyle choice. Song Noir was recorded in the summer of 2005 in San Francisco, on equipment almost as crude as our sense of humor. The first CD contains 16 original songs. The second (aka "The Ripoffs") has seven of our best parodies of other people's songs.

I just wanted to tell you that I read "Atlas of the Human Heart" and thought it was lovely. I tore out the front page of Part V and keep it in my notebook. I'm pretty sure my life will never compare to yours, but reading memoirs like that are almost as good.
