Too cool! I cannot wait to read it!
The book sounds awesome Ariel. I can't wait to read it.
Hola --- I am toward the end of my several-month sojourn in Oaxaca, soon to return to the my bay area home, and I have had the great fortune to be reading an advance copy of The Death and Resurrection Show aloud to your father John! What a treat for both of us! I love your book... for all kinds of reasons... the story-line itself, her back-story, the language (ahh, the language), and perhaps especially, the pages on the various saints, of whom I knew next to nothing (probably from the other side of nothing, to be honest). My fifteen years of Buddhism have brought me quite close to the essences of the saints depicted, and here I am in Oaxaca, in Semana Santa, amid, among the friends and acquaintances I have made here, a couple of active Catholic priests, one very active ex-Catholic priest, and a very active ex-nun, just to round things out. I am learning lots of new things!
I did not know Eve nor John before coming here, but I was ordered to visit them by a mutual friend from Palo Alto. Again, I am a fortunate man.
I just read your tour dates and places, and I hope to be at Cody's in San Francisco to say hello.
Que te vaya bien, Tony Press
I got it! I got the book! (From Atomic Books) Yay! Yayyy!
I was so happy to pick it up, I waved it in the air and said "a book is born". (At least to me) Finaly in its printed form.
I will tell you what I think after i read it. Yay!
Ok Ariel I just got this from the library, this book is awesome. I am going to buy it asap. You are one grand writer, mama, it's brilliant!
